Church Inn- Manchester

31/03/2025 / GRC

Project Overview The Church Inn project in Manchester is a striking nine-storey residential development situated south of the city, on a site previously occupied by the disused Church Inn public house. The development, positioned near the Mancunian Way, features 62 studio apartments, a communal area, a rooftop terrace, office space, and secure storage for 16 bicycles. A key aspect of the project was its commitment to preserving the history of the site while integrating modern construction techniques.

Henley Stone Specialists played a crucial role in this development by installing the Glass Reinforced Concrete (GRC). Notably, Henley Stone Specialists fitted the bespoke GRC feature displaying the engraved ‘CHURCH INN’ name, prominently placed at the top of the building. This feature provides a strong architectural statement.
