As part of an impressive new build development at the historic Boroughmuir High School in Edinburgh, Scotland, Henley Stone were contracted for the installation of the new full stone cladding installation on the exterior of the building.

The GRC facade as a part of the schools development was made up of vertical wind posts cladded with GRC along with band course GRC surrounding the full development.

 

All of these factors had to be worked into a tight schedule to ensure that deadlines were met and that the multiple subcontractors were able to combine their services in a seamless and organised manner with no room for error.

Henley Stone Specialists have worked for Barratt London on two phases of the West Hendon regeneration scheme, where they developed the outline design to allow them to supply and install the precast stone features on numerous blocks including a 26 Storey Tower.

The nature of the design required detailed coordination between themselves and the Brickwork, Glazing and Architectural Metalwork subcontractors to ensure an 18 stage installation sequence was followed. During this period we relied heavily on the technical expertise and ‘can do’ attitude of Henley Stone which undoubtedly contributed to the success of the project as a whole
